Applications are invited from highly motivated and well experienced self-driven citizens of Botswana for the following vacant positions in the Ministry of Infrastructure, Science & Technology, Ministry Headquarters.
SALARY: D3 (P190, 104.00 – P209, 868.00 per annum)
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum
BENEFITS: Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme with the Botswana Public Officers Medical Aid Scheme (BPOMAS – Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%). Contributory Pension Fund Scheme with 15% of basic salary being Government contribution whilst the employee contributes only 5%.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Information Systems, Industrial
Engineering, Strategic management, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Business Administration (Management or Human Resource Management).

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eight (8) years’ post graduate working experience, two (2) years of which should have been at the level of D4 Grade in the field of performance management, organisational transformation, change management or related field in Government or equivalent level in parastatal or private sector organisations.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent and Pensionable
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To plan, develop, direct, organise, co-ordinate and facilitate for re-engineering of processes within the Ministry.
DUTIES:
1. Provides guidance in identification of processes to be re-engineered/improved in the Ministry.
2. Undertakes re-engineering and auditing of processes as well as acts as a Team Leader.
3. Manages the verification and analysis of processes with the Ministry departments.
4. Prepares quarterly re-engineering and audit reports for the Ministry departments.
5. Oversees the implementation of recommendations emanating from re-engineering and audit reports.
6. Guides departments in mapping new processes and develop the Ministry process manual.
7. Facilitates the roll-out of customer service standards to all the Departments and monitor compliance to them.
8. Trains, coaches, guide and develop trainee Management Analysts and new staff in order to build capacity.
9. Undertakes any other related duties as required to meet the exigencies of the service.
