1. PROFESSOR /ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR /SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION

Qualifications and Experience:

• A PhD. Degree in Soil Chemistry/Fertility. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Duties:

1. To teach Chemistry, Introductory Soil Science, Soil Chemistry/Soil Fertility and Soil Management to both undergraduate and post-graduate students.
2. To supervise Research Projects for undergraduate students
3. To supervise Thesis/dissertation for post-graduate students
4. To conduct research in Soil Science
5. To perform community service in Soil Science and related areas.

2. PROFESSOR /ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR /SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION

Qualifications and Experience:

• A PhD in Agricultural Entomology. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Duties:

1. To teach Agricultural Entomology including systematic, crop pests, and pest control of cultivated crops and storage pests.
2. To teach Agricultural Entomology including post-harvest pests and insect taxonomy at Post-graduate level.
3. To supervise Research Projects for undergraduate students
4. To supervise Thesis/dissertation for post-graduate students
5. To conduct research in Agricultural Entomology and related areas.
6. To perform community service in Agric. Entomology- related areas.
7. To perform any other duties as assigned by the head of department.

3. PROFESSOR /ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR /SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CURRICULUM AND TEACHING

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in History Education although a relevant Ph.D. would be an added advantage. • Experience in teaching History Education at university or college, and teaching History at secondary school, levels.

Duties:

1. To teach Curriculum Studies in History
2. Supervise educational research projects.
3. Conduct research and do community service

4. SENIOR LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent related subject area. • University teaching experience in Computer Networks and/or Computer Architecture & Organization would be an added advantage.

Duties:

1. To teach Computer Science at undergraduate level.
2. To do research in the relevant field.
