TEMPORARY FULL-TIME COMPUTER LAB DEMONSTRATOR

Duties: To assist with the teaching of computer lab practicals and conduct of tutorials in the respective subjects. The candidate must have an advanced practical programming experience and must be able to design small to medium business information systems. Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, DHTML, Visual Basic, PHP, MySQL, and SQL in general is absolutely necessary. Other duties include supervision of lab sessions, marking of tutorials and perform any other duties as maybe assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:  Applicants must have at least a Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant area (e.g. Business Information Systems, Computing) with at least a 2(i) pass / GPA of at least 3.6. Experience of teaching at University level will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to applicants who are currently unemployed.
