This position is located in the Department of Management, Office of Human Resources Management, Strategic Planning and Staffing Division, Planning Monitoring and Reporting Service (PMRS). The incumbent will be responsible for the following: Lead design, development, deployment, and on-going delivery of HR Management (HRM) planning and monitoring of HR Scorecards across departments, offices and field operations, including development and implementation of strategy, processes, training and guidance; monitor the HR performance of various departments, offices and field operations vis-à-vis the performance indicators of the HRM Scorecards and facilitate the monitoring by relevant senior management governance mechanisms; analyze HRM Scorecard data, communicate findings and recommendations based on data, research and analytical insights to influence senior management to take action; partner with internal clients and senior management to design and implement improvements in HRM operations, understanding and delivering on their HRM data and analytical needs, solving HRM-related challenges, and providing coaching and training on use and interpretation of HRM Scorecard metrics; perform other duties as may be required.
Education:
dvanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in public administration, business administration, management or related field. A first level university degree in combination with qualifying experience in management or related area may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in management consulting, programme management, human resources management or related field. Experience in data analysis, strategic planning, facilitation, results based management, change management, scorecards, business process improvement, ERP, business intelligence systems and managing of multiple projects, is desirable.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency/proficiency in English (oral and written) is required. Knowledge of Dari and/or Pashto would be an asset.
