Introduction of Post The incumbent is the second-level support contact for any problems encountered, generally by key users. INTERPOL is currently working with SAP.
1 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- No. 1: Implementation of changesRecord the change request, then establish a timeline for the implementation. With the support of the enterprise architect, handle all aspects of the implementation: drafting of operational and technical specifications; configurations and developments; tests; preparation for launch; post-launch support. Assess the potential need to call upon an external partner for complex requests for which we do not have the expertise. Validate specifications prior to developments and the quality of the developments made. Develop and configure in compliance with the Organization’s development standards. Ensure support and user documentation is updated. - No. 2: Second-level support Provide specialized technical and operational support to users, using good communication skills in a multicultural environment. Process tickets using the ticket-management system: open, track, analyse, diagnose, resolve incidents, then close the incident ticket. If necessary, remind Business users of good user practices. If necessary, escalate to SAP Marketplace. Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor.
2 REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will be assessed according to the post requirements defined below.
2.1 Training/EducationBac + 2 minimum 2.2 Language skills French and English essential 2.3 Experience Five (5) years’ experience; SAP certification is desirable 2.4 Specific skills required Mandatory: ABAP, Smart Forms, Sapscript, LSMW, User-Exit/Badi, roles and permissions Appreciated: ABAP HR, Web Dynpro ABAP, Workflow, SRM, NWBC

For more information regarding conditions of service, see “Employment conditions for officials under contract” on the Organization’s website (www.interpol.int). • The incumbent may be required to work overtime depending on workload, and to travel abroad as part of his/her duties. *The Organization plans to establish a Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore in mid-2014. Although no decisions have been made at this time as to which posts will be transferred to Singapore, acceptance of the post implies acceptance of a transfer to Singapore. **This contract is for an initial duration of three years.
