Reporting to the Management Secretary-Asset Management, the successful incumbent will be required to perform the following key duties:
1- Picks up and deliver letters, important business documents, or packages that need to be sent or received quickly within BCL mine
2 - Daily sorting, collection and distribution of mail to appropriate locations 3- Timely and accurate delivery of mail/documents to appropriate locations 4- Collect stores material for delivery to indicated destinations
5 - Performs other tasks as may be requested by the Asset Management Secretary
6 - Keeping an accurate record of mail received and delivered including the dates and times, as well as a recipient's response to a message
7 - Keeps bicycle in good and safe working condition
8 - Keeps mail sorting room clean, secure and in good order
Job Requirements:
1 - Junior Certificate with at least 1 year work experience
2 - Light duty Driver’s license, will be an added advantage
3 - Highly trustworthy in handling important and confidential documents
4 - Above average interpersonal skills to deal with office receptionists,receiving packages he delivers
5 - Able to read and write
