PLANT ATTENDANT– HOT METALS (METALS PRODUCTION)

Reporting to the Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Duties: - Starts up equipment according to set procedures and monitors by observation - Ensure efficient operation of equipment to maintain the set production or performance target - Informs Team Leader at all times on breakdowns and operational problems - Carries out all housekeeping duties in his specific work area - Carries out all duties assigned to him by the Team Leader - Reports all defects to Team Leader - Assesses process problems and rectify and if beyond him informs the Team Leader - Decide and concludes on simple plant and process problems solutions on hourly basis by trouble shooting using acquired experience and following the procedure

Job Requirements: - Form 5 - Experience: - One (1) year’s relevant work experience
