• The Disposing Department is Lands

• Applications are invited from citizens and wholly citizen owned companies to tender for the purchase of commercial plot in Selebi-Phikwe, Hotel site.

• The plot is serviced with water, sewer, and power and tarred roads.

• The plot size is (19331 square meters) and is sold at Government approved fixed price of P200.00/m2.

• Requests for clarification should be received not later than 14 days before the closing date, those received after the stipulated time will not be responded to.

• Tender documents can be purchased from the Department of Lands:

Francistown office: Private Bag F262, Ntshe House ground floor, Office No: 1.21 OR from District Commissioners’ Office OR

Gaborone office: Private Bag 00128, Main Mall, AKD House, 1st floor, Office No. DL 123 Gaborone with effect from: 19th May 2014 between 08:00 hours – 15:30 hours during working days.

• A non-re-fundable fee of P250.00 payable by cash or bank guaranteed cheque is required on collection of tender documents.

• Survey diagrams for each plot can be purchased from the Department of Surveys and Mapping Office in Gaborone, Selibe Phikwe, Francistown and Maun.

• One (1) ORIGINAL document marked “ORIGINAL” AND four (4) copies marked” Copy” in a sealed one (1) envelope marked “Tender No. MTC/MLH/DOL/SELEBI PHIKWE COMMERCIAL PLOT, HOTEL SITE/1334/30042014”, Should be addressed to The Ministerial Tender Committee, Ministry of Lands and Housing, Private Bag 00434, Gaborone, Botswana and to be delivered and deposited into the available tender box placed at Ministry of Lands and Housing, 2nd floor, Reception Area, West Wing, AKD House, Main Mall.

• The closing time for receipt of tender offers shall be 10:00 hours on 30th June 2014. Tender opening will be done immediately after closing time in the presence of bidders or representatives wishing to attend.

• “Late offers will NOT be accepted”.

• Telegraphic, telex, telephone, email tenders will NOT be considered

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board’s Standardized Conditions of Tender Apply to this procurement, for which all applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender documents.

Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, The Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer. The tenderer shall bear the costs for the preparation of the tender.
