2.TRAINEE SALES UNIT MANAGER

2.1.Job Purpose
A Trainee Sales Unit Manager works in a sales management role as trainee for a period of up to 1 year. His/her work consists of building and leading a team of Insurance advisers who are involved in maximizing sales growth by realizing the objectives and targets allocated on a yearly basis and establish a long and lasting relationship with their respective client portfolio for the benefit of all parties.
2.2.Duties
•Developing relationships with customers to deliver long term business benefit
•Recruiting, managing and coaching a team of at least 10 insurance advisers
•Providing direction and support to this sales team
2.3.Requirements
•Minimum COP in long term insurance and a 5 years of relevant experience in sales, trade and commerce
•Experience in building and managing a team of full time sales representatives
•Basic computer skills
•Be willing to work odd hours, weekends and public holidays
•Prepared to work on a sales target based approach
•Must have own transport.
