Job description
Setting and operating the hydraulic pipe straightening press.Pre-straightening of drill pipe tubing before manufacturing commences.Final Straightening and final verification of finished products.Signing off quality control documentation on total run-out.Adherence to quality requirements as specified in the work instructions and drawings.Moving raw material to and from production plant by means of combilift, forklift and overhead crane.
Experience requirements
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.Previous experience in similar process would be an added advantage.Medically fit to operate overhead crane, combilift and forklift.
Knowledge
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.Ability to read standard measuring equipment.Ability to read a clock-gauge is a must.
Educational requirements
Grade 12 qualification.
Personality requirements
Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good interpersonal skills.Strong work ethic.Self starter and a team player.Ability to work without constant supervision.Enthusiastic and energetic.
