Overview of role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the candidate will conduct social circumstances assessments to formulate equitable apportionments. The incumbent will advocate for adjustments in policy administration where appropriate.
Job description
- Integrity - align team to morals and ethic regulations, standards and frameworks
- Death Benefits - reporting/ accounting/ monitoring of death benefits transactions executed
- Fund Admin Counselling - consult to individuals, groups and organisations on death benefits, trust services , pensioner services and member withdrawal benefits
- Customer Focus - monitor and manage service delivery, indentify problems, blockages and bottlenecks; make or suggest changes to processes based on client feedback
- Retirement Benefits - transfer fund credit/ assets, prepare payment vouchers, prepare annuity options quotations for members
- Trust Services - monitor trustee and Guardian profiles, and disburse including carrying out needs assessment up to issuance of payment
Requirements, Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Social Worker, Psychologist or Counselor
- Membership of a recognised professional body is a requirement
- You should be knowledgeable and experienced in fund administration, counselling, customer engagement, client retention and be familiar with the various products on offer by the Fund
