Overview of role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for building and sustaining a good relationship between the organisation and its members through planned public education campaigns on various products and services being offered by the Fund.
Job description
- Product Knowledge - advanced understanding of full range of services; can converse about intricate process details of service delivery, typical problems experienced, modification to process required
- Client Education/ Demonstration - design demonstration packs (sales materials, brochures, back-up material) and the overall demonstration program for services, processes or channels
- Customer Focus - ensure consistency in service levels, compliance to service philosophy and make sure that client service and retention objectives are met
- Influencing Through Communication - communicate in the context of one-on-one discussions and small group interactions. Gain attention, convince and influence by handling concerns and objections. Aim the communication at the right level using better than average vocabulary and sentence construction. Present information, explain actions and respond to arguments in a logical and succinct manner
Requirements, Education and Experience
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Media Studies
- 3 years' post qualification experience in Communications, Public Relations or related field
- Have outstanding verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills
- Be a strong planner and have an above average ability to organize self and events
- Networking ability and people skills are considered essential
