What You’ll Be Doing
The writer (or writer/performer) will contribute to creating satirical, hilarious sketches and direct-to-camera videos in line with the well-defined WUA satirical voice that our fans have come to know and love, while inserting your own creative voice into the mix.
Specifically, that means:
• Develop funny, compelling and original scripts, concepts, ideas and pitches that work within WUA's voice and tone. (each WUA episode is between 90 - 120 seconds, so scripts need to be both witty and have punchy gags)
• Make deadlines and secure in writing to time and specifications (very quick turnaround)
• Collaborate with WUA’s main writer/performer Ikenna Azuike on scripts for new episodes.
• Be flexible and available for Skype phone calls and back and forth on script
• (If you are also a performer) Appear on camera in WUA as a performer when required.
