Missions To manage the Supply Chain activities within the region by implementing standard operating procedures, monitoring cost and profitability of the warehouse cost centre and supporting the local teams in new business development.
Responsibilities •Manage existing value added and general cargo/commodities warehousing activities. Develop WSCM activities for several countries in the region •Ensure all projects are smoothly implemented and timeously executed as per clients' request •Ensure all teams are recruited and trained •Analyse and monitor warehousing KPI's and reporting •Support tariff building (through data analysis and calculation if required and manage the P&L (Business Plan Construction) and ensure profitability through close P&L monitoring •Manage warehouse RGQ's in line with best practices •Ensure IT infrastructure and the WMS implemented for warehousing operations are compliant with IT Dept best practices •Support the sales force •Support legal and contractual negotiations •Ensure strong client relationship. •Always pro-actively look for operational optimization in terms of space, processes, productivity, etc.
Experience required
•Tertiary education in either logistics or supply chain management •Training in MSOffice suite and other industry related courses will be advantage •3 years' experience minimum in supply chain or a related field •Experience with AutoCAD and/or SketchUp will be an advantage.
