Planning Coordinators

 

Vacancies exist for Planning Coordinators in the Mine Maintenance Department.  Reporting to the Superintendent: Asset Management HME, the successful candidates will be responsible for the development of short, medium and long term plans to improve the availability, reliability and operability of equipment in their area of responsibility whilst carrying out planning of the maintenance activities to the scheduling stage.

 

Key performance areas

• Maintaining Health, Safety & Environmental Standards
• Carrying out maintenance forecasts
• Planning and Scheduling
• Monitoring and executing technical completion of work orders
• Reviewing work, maintenance orders and planned job durations

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12
• Trade Diploma(qualified artisan) in Mechanical or Electrical or T3/N6 Technical diploma in MEchanical or Electrical
• Valid code BE (08) drivers licence

Experience

• Five years experience (excluding apprenticeship) in relevant trade in similar environment.
• Planning experience will be an added advantage
