1.GENERAL MECHANICS X 6 Position - Orapa

1.1.Position Outputs

•Responsible for repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of earthmoving equipment machines systems.
•Advice customers and operators on the correct use of caterpillar machinery.
•Communicate job status to internal customers and supervisors. 
•Prepare parts orders and complete daily service reports
•Assist with Artisan and Learner development through on-line training.

1.2.Requirements

•National Craft Certificate in Heavy Plant Mechanics, Diesel Plant or equivalent.
•Sound technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment machines systems.
•3 years post qualification experience on Caterpillar machines ( Experience on mining trucks such as CAT 789s is an added advantage)
•Diagnostics ability
•Must be familiar with caterpillar software and tolls ie E.T, VIMS, SIS etc
•Ability to work accurately and diligently to ensure quantity repairs to machines
•Ability to follow instructions and cope with job demands
•Must be able to work independently and work overtime.
