PRINCIPAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

•Salary Scale: C1 (P123, 168 - 147, 180) per annum
•Qualifications: BSc in Physiotherapy or higher
•Experience: At least 3 years experience 

1.1.Job Purpose

All duties related to physiotherapy in a busy district hospital. The officer should be able to work independently and his/her responsibilities include among others: Managing of the Unit and to assess critically, treat and rehabilitate patients effectively and efficiently referred for physiotherapy. 

PRINCIPAL RADIOGRAPHY OFFICER

•Salary Scale: C1 (P123, 168 - 147, 180) per annum
•Qualifications: Diploma/higher Diploma in Radiology 
•Experience: At least 3 years experience as a Radiography Officer

2.1.Job Purpose

All duties related to Radiology in a busy district hospital. The officer should be able to work independently and his/her responsibilities include among others: To provide radiography services, manage radiology unit in a district mission hospital. Analyses radio graphic programs and protocols and identifies activities which can be performed by various radiography officers and assistants. 

CHIEF RADIOGRAPHY OFFICER

•Salary Scale: D4 (P165,300 - 182,496)) per annum
•Qualifications: Diploma/higher Diploma in Radiology 
•Experience: At least 3 years experience as a Radiography Officer

3.1.Job Purpose

To coordinate Radiology Services throughout the hospital in order to maintain common standards of diagnostic Radio graphic techniques and procedures.

The officer should be able to work independently and his/her responsibilities include among others:

•Give technical advice and guidance on the management of problems, which fall within the scope of radiography
•Takes charge of the department and verify standard operating procedures with the radiologist in charge and ensures that standards are maintained.
•Analyses radiographic programs and protocols and identifies activities which can be performed by various radiography officers and assistants
•Deputizing the pharmacist.
