The French Livestock Institute is the national technical reference in livestock farming systems in France. Its activities encompass applied research, technical assistance and technology transfer in cattle, sheep, goats and horses husbandry sciences. It is also an active partner in development business and experience sharing, currently involved in numerous programs internationally.
The French Livestock Institute is currently looking for consultants with qualifications and expertise within the following areas, with experience in Africa (in particular East Africa):
Rural development/Livestock project design and management, livestock extension systems ;
Livestock production economy, marketing and market studies ;
Livestock institutions, services organization, value chains, regulatory framework ;
Agribusiness ;
Financing by the banking sector.
