Job description
- To achieve a given sales turn over and implement all the sales plans provided
- Assessing stores sales budgets plan for the year and managing sales statistics weekly, and drawing sales promotions within the division and developing a marketing plan for the stores in Botswana
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating store openings for the Botswana division and ensuring that the company follows all the procedures and laws of the country
- Controlling Budgets for the Store Opening budgets and ensuring that employees are recruited well in time and trained before the store Opens
- Implementing customer service principles and ensuring that staff is fully trained on how to provide customer service
- Implementing and maintaining all the visual merchandising standards in Stores
- Managing product availability in all the stores and developing plan of action to drive product sell offs, and executing own in-store promotions
- Coordinating and managing store sell offs trends of the old stock, assisting stores with space allocations for the bad and good selling departments
- Training and motivating a team of store managers, trainee managers with a staff on company standards and ensuring implementation of company strategies with good store standards
- Equipping managers with all the shrinkage control measures skills, action plans and ensuring that Occupational Health and Safety Control regulations are adhered too, and checking that all the internal store administration procedures are followed
- Planning and doing quarterly progress reporting to the Company Directors, and initiating solutions and providing business Plans
- Ensuring the stores reach their profitability turn over through managing the stores Profit and Loss Statements and monthly cost and expenses action plans
- Managing merchandise
- Handling of IR issues
Requirements
- A Business or Retail related Degree
- Minimum 5 years management experience in retail
- A valid driver's license
