Duties and Responsibilities
- Recommends and incorporates costs saving initiatives into budget and controls expenditure within approved parameters

Duties and Resposibilities
- Develops medium and long term facility strategies to ensure slick operation for owner and contractor disciplineÂ
- Initiate the execution of projects to sustain facilities for the working environment
- Plans and coordinates the medium to long term maintenance strategy for the mining area facilities
- Ensures sustainable supply of utilities (water and electricity) to those facilities.
- Responsible for and manages the overall section's safety, health and environmental programme in line with the operational strategy and objectives
- Identifies and mitigates business risks
- Provides the framework for application of knowledge management principle to ensure effective knowledge capture, exchange and adaption

- Analyse the financial needs to develop a budget and ensure sufficient financial resources to meet business needs
- Translates the engineering strategies into medium/long term strategic leverage areas or interventions for development of maintenance systems to support the operations in meeting the business objectives and targets
- Establishes and sets best practice standards for equipment, taking cognizance of health, safety, environmental, technical and legislative directives by:
- Performing life cycle costing and equipment criticality classification exercises to assess best practices for maintaining approaches replacement, inventory control, service, repair, and reconditioning as well as the decommissioning and disposal standards.
- Integrating new equipment into existing infrastructures
- Analysing equipment performance to identify maintenance related problems and devising remedial solutions
- Ensuring that upgrades and enhancements of equipment/machinery are performed to ensure optimal effectiveness
- oversee the programming configuration/calibration, commissioning and optimisation exercises as appropriate
- Performing over-inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis on equipment and making remedial plan or recommendations as appropriate

To coordinate and implement the processes, practices, functions and activities within information the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) disciplines, in order to achieve operational goals and targets.
Duties and Resposibilities
- Manages projects as/when required, taking cognizance of principles, specification, time parameters, health, safety and legal requirements inter alia.
- Installs, implements and removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools; follows agreed standards, including where appropriate those for electrical work, taking cognizance of supplier directives and agreed service levels.
- Analyses and assess trends in the capacity arena in order to ensure capability and maintenance of the capacity tools and processes for minimal disruption to the business I both IT/OT field.
- Develops quality standards, procedures and process flows for the section in both IT/OT space, taking cognizance of best practice and group directives, in order to enhance the continuous improvements mechanisms.
- Administers he change management process and database, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
- Attends to all administrative functions of the position, taking cognizance of the need to create a clear audit trail.
- Takes cognizance of, adheres to and promotes Corporate Governance and Company policies and procedures relating to safety, health, security and environment issues.
- To administer the security, access control and data protection in order to secure information in accordance with pre-set directives/policies.
