The post of Senior Assistant Director, Public Education exists in the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime under Public Education Division. The Division exists to provide education to the public on the evils of corruption and foster public support.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate public education functions/activities within the Directorate and promote awareness to the society.
A talented, and visionary candidate is therefore sought to lead and direct the operations of the office of the Senior Assistant Director, Public Education.
BENEFITS:
i) Contract of: 24-36 months with gratuity of 25% of the total gross emoluments earned during the contract of employment
ii) Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and Employee pays 50%)
iii) Institutional Housing or 15% Housing Allowance in lieu of housing.

QUALIFIED APPLICANT(S) PROFILE
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communications or Humanities. A post graduate qualification in Strategic Management will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 12 years relevant experience in Public Education issues, 2 years of which should have been served at E2 level or equivalent grade.

• Promotes awareness on corruption at all levels of society and sensitise the public about its adverse impact on the country.
• Directs, manages and controls the operations of the Public Education Division.
• Undertakes Public Education activities in order to equip the public with knowledge and tools necessary to prevent corruption.
• Develops Communication Strategy and provides advice on effective methods and systems of implementation.
• Prepares the Public Education Division Annual Performance Plan and reports progress to the Director General.
• Benchmarks with well-established Anti-Corruption Agencies on best practices on corruption related issues.
