Background
“The World We Want 2015” is an innovative online platform for curating global conversations on post-2015. It is a unique online space that applies innovative techniques to data-mining and visualization, thereby displaying data in people friendly format. The World We Want 2015 Platform hosts the UN and civil society official open consultation for post-2015 and it is a space that consolidates civil society input to policy-making. Led by the Policy Strategy Group for WWW201, formed by various civil society organizations and UN institutions, the platform is facilitated by UNDG and managed by UNMC on their behalf.
In the lead up to 2015, a major outreach and mobilization push is needed to ensure that the World We Want platform continues to be a major influential player in the post-2015 process and positions itself to continue as an influential platform as the new development agenda is implemented.
