Qualifications and Requirements
A Recognized Bachelors Degrre in Library/Information Management or related field. A Masters Degree is highky recommended
Experience
At least 8 (eight) year post-qualification experience in Library and Information Services, of which three (3) years must have been at management level (e.g a head of a unit or section in an academic library)
Competencies
-Ability to work in groups, explore new initiatives
-Practical Knowledge of Library systems, electronic reference tools and emerging library technologies
-Proven experience in acquisitions, cataloguing and serials, reference and information resources and services management
-Critical thinking, proactive and innovative
-International skills
-Enthusiasm, and strong commitment to service
