Duties and Resposibilities
Qualifications and Requirements
A Recognized Degree in Library/Information Management or related Field. A masters degree will be an advantage
Experience
At least Three years post qualification experience in library and information services in the client services or technical services
Competencies
-Experience in Library software and systems implementation
-Familarity with established standards and protocols in IT
-Knowledge of Library meta-data
-Practical knowledge of Library systems, electronic reference tools and emerging library technologies.
-Proven experience in acquisitions, cataloguing and indexing of information resources.
-Experience in reference and information literacy in higher education
