VACANCY NO. FET/CE 16/2014: PART-TIME LECTURER IN STRUCTURES - DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

Duties: The successful applicant will be required to teach structural engineering courses – Theory of Structures, Structural Analysis and Structural Design. In addition the candidate will be expected to carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: The successful applicant must possess (i) a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent in a 5 points scale and (ii) a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering specializing in structural engineering or equivalent (iii) evidence of engagement in research & service. Teaching experience will be added advantage.
