DATA ADMINISTRATOR - TRADE PORTAL

Main purpose of the job

Reporting to the Trade Portal Manager, the candidate will be required to upload and publish information received from the Content Coordinator onto the Botswana Trade Portal. He/she will also develop user friendly guides and train, or coordinate training of users on how to use the Trade Portal.

Key Performance Areas

• Ensure that the Portal is available and functional for all users at all times.
• Maintain an up-to-date Trade Portal, populated with relevant data for ease of use by exporters and importers.
• Will be responsible for the functionality and technology system of the Trade Portal.
• Shall provide appropriate format customization and support for the Trade Portal system or technology

Educational qualifications and experience

Degree/Professional qualification in IT field or equivalent plus four years of relevant experience, preferably in the business sector. Familiarity with computer operating systems and database technology (design, software and structure) is essential.
