Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Service Manager, the incumbent will be required to:

• Manage the service operations in order to satisfy customer needs
• Manage the vehicle repair order process
• Carry out the quality control duties and do (if necessary) vehicle repair, maintenance and diagnostic work
• Use the Barloworld Motor Retail and franchise systems & procedures
• Manage physical resources
• Manage the performance of staff
• Measure actual performance of staff against targets
• Take appropriate corrective action
• Control outwork/sublet work daily
• Control consumables
• Lead the team in order to develop and maintain a positive working relationship and reach objectives
• Develop staff to improve performance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• O Level / BGCSE certificate
• National Craft Certificate (NCC) in Auto mechanics or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Qualified Technician
• Unendorsed Driver’s Licence
