The International Post Corporation (IPC) seeks to recruit a manager responsible for the project management of market intelligence initiatives for the global postal sector. The purpose is to support the twin strategies of growing new postal business through e-Commerce and for defending core postal business through the promotion of transactional and advertising mail for leading postal and logistics operators around the world.
Job specifications
- Manage diverse range of market intelligence projects relating to global e-Commerce development in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North and South America, including the development, implementation and management of a global e-Commerce consumer panel;
- Manage range of market intelligence projects relating to data driven direct marketing in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America, including the development of best practice, case studies, training material and support for industry events;
- Manage senior executive programme for members to exchange and share substantive points of view on the critical strategic issues facing postal operators around the world. Discuss and develop content for forums and presentations with senior executives from the membership on a diverse range of postal activities including e-Commerce and Direct Marketing.
Minimum requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing project management and product development in the field of e-Commerce and direct marketing;
- Exposure to, and/or experience of, marketing project management in the mail and express industry;
- University graduate, preferably with a degree in business, or marketing;
- Creative with very strong personal influencing skills;
- Self-starter, able to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision;
- Results orientated, pro-active, team player, able to work and actively contribute in a team environment;
- As English is the working language of IPC, a high standard of both spoken and written English is required, other European languages a plus;
- Entitled to live and work in Belgium.
