ACCOUNTANT JOB

A reputable and well established company which is wholly owned by Botswana government committed to the production of high quality livestock vaccines which are exported world-wide is looking for suitably qualified citizens for the following position:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To organize and oversee the processing of accounting records and information to ensure the accurate and timely production of accounts and the timely and accurate provision of production cost reports (variance analysis reports) in accordance with laid down procedures and schedules, accounting policies and standards.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Timely availability of accurate accounting records
Minimal audit queries
Availability of management accounting information.
Timely provision of accurate cash flow position and forecast
Reliability of production cost reports

Qualifications
Accounting Degree or equivalent
CIMA or equivalent; member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants

Experience
Three years post qualification accounting experience in computerized, commercial accounting environment

Analytical skills

Time management
Attention to detail
