1.HEAVY PLANT MECHANIC
1.1.Job Summary
To maintain and service primarily diesel engine driven heavy plant equipment which amongst others include the following: salt harvester, bulldozer, tracked excavators, mobile crane, graders, front end loaders, tractors, drill rig, Nodwells, Nares, locomotives, dumpers, truck horses, buses, heavy trucks and mobile compressors.
1.2.Key Performances Areas
•Planning and organizing of own work
•Maintenance of heavy mobile machinery
•Supervision of subordinates, Training and Development
1.3.Requirements
•O'Levels plus recognized apprenticeship in Heavy Plant Mechanic (National Craft Certificate)
•A light motor vehicle driver's license is mandatory and a valid heavy duty driver's license is a distinct advantage.
2.CODED WELDERS
2.1.Job Summary
Responsible for providing specialized welding services and carriers out other fabrication tasks in support of the maintenance function as required. The incumbent should be a qualified welder tested in the ASME IX G6 position by an approved inspection authority.
2.2.Key Performances Areas
•Planning and organizing of own work
•Maintaining and repairing of general Plant Equipment
•Carry out inspection on Welding and Fabrication work
•Supervision of Subordinates, Training and Development
2.3.Requirements
•Ideally O'level plus National Craft Certificate in Coded welding
•4 years post qualification experience in a heavy industry plant environment
•A light motor vehicle drivers license is essential
•Knowledge of Safety Management Systems will be an added advantage
•Have a Practical Welding Certificate in G6 position
3.ARTISAN ELECTRICIAN
3.1.Job Summary
To carry out faultfinding, repairs, tests, maintenance and installation work on the factory and ancillary electrical equipment in a safe manner.
3.2.Key Performance Areas
•Planning and organizing own work
•Fault finding, tests, repairs, maintenance & installation of electrical work
•Carrying inspections on electrical work
•Supervision of subordinates, training and development
3.3.Requirements
•Ideally O'Level plus National Craft Certificate in Maintenance Industrial Electrician
•4 years post qualification experience in mining or heavy industrial plant environment.
•Good knowledge of motor starters (3.3.KV and 525V motors)
•Good knowledge of PLC's and Variable Speed Drivers and Basic Telemetry
•A valid light motor vehicle driver's license
•Knowledge of Safety Management System will be an added advantage.
4.FACILITIES ASSISTANT
4.1.Job Summary
Responsible for assisting the Facility Officer in managing company facilities, accommodation and related contracts administration and general administrative service duties.
4.2.Key Performance Areas

•Quotations for procurement
•Stock control
•Accommodation allocations
•Facilities maintenance
•Furniture removal
•Housing on Boarding induction
4.3.Requirements
•Diploma in Facilities/Estate Management
•A minimum of 2 years experience in a building and maintenance or facilities management environment
•Diploma/certificate in structural engineering is an added advantage
•Light vehicles driver's license
5.CASHIER
5.1.Job Summary
To issue, receive cash and maintain cashbooks for petty cash and foreign currency, account for travel advances paid out. Among others the job function will include:

•Ideally O'level plus Certificate in Accounting/AAT foundation/CABS with atleast 2 years in accounting environment dealing with cash
•Be familiar with computerized accounting.
6.LABORATORY SAMPLER
6.1.Job Summary
To physically take samples on shift basis at predetermined sampling points in the plant, according to prescribed procedures

6.3.Requirements
•Ideally the incumbent should possess O'Levels, BGCSE, plus a certificate in Science Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
•Possession of a driver's license and computer skills will be an added advantage.
7.SHIFT BUS DRIVER
7.1.Job Summary
To drive company buses, taxis and light duty vehicles to various destinations, and to transport company employees to and from work on daily basis.
7.2.Requirements
•Ideally Junior Certificate plus valid light and heavy duty driver licence, unrestricted PSV with at least 4 years experience
•Good command of written and oral English
•Extra heavy duty license will be an added advantage
