To act as in-house counsel, advocate and advisor in the provision of legal representation, legal protection and services to CAAB as a whole, advise the Authority’s executive management on legal issues related to business activities. Further to advise on legal matters, performing legal research for the benefit of CAAB and partake in settlement negotiations, advising on, among other issues, contracts, property interests, taxes, collective bargaining agreements, regulations and patents to enable CAAB to fulfill its mandate.
Requirements
Education:
A Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognized University and admission to practice in the Courts of Botswana is required. Specialisation in Corporate Law will be an added advantage. Membership in good standing of the Botswana Law Society is essential.
Experience:
At least five (5) years post qualification working experience in a legal department of a reputable large public/ private organization. Familiarity with International Law and Aviation issues is desirable.
