1.OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENIST 

1.1.Job Purpose

To design, implement and coordinate the occupational hygiene programme through identification, monitoring and control of occupational hygiene hazards that might lead to ill health

1.2.Key Performances Areas

•Occupational Hygiene Program
•Occupational Hygiene Surveys and Standards
•Occupational Hygiene Inspections and Risk Assessment
•Occupational Hygiene Training and Awareness
•Incident investigation and Management
•Budget and cost control
•Safety, Health, Environment and Quality

1.3.Qualifications & Experience

•Degree in Environmental Health with a major in Occupational Hygiene OR Degree in Industrial Hygiene or equivalent
•2 years post qualification with practical experience on occupational hygiene surveys, risk assessment etc
•Certified at a technologist and or hygienist level by a professional body will be an added advantage.
•Possession of a valid class B drivers license is a pre-requisite
