TECHNICAL OFFICERS (Microbiology/Chemistry (2 posts each)
2.1.Job Purpose
The incumbent will carry out a range of chemical and microbiological analyses to ensure products, production process and materials conform to laid down standards, procedures and specifications
2.2.Key Performance Areas
•Achievement of product specification and standards
•Compliance with statutory, regulatory and international requirements
•Volume and accuracy of work & maintenance of records
2.3.Qualifications & Experience
•Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Laboratory Technology / testing
•2 years experience in food laboratory implementing ISO 17025
SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (2 Posts)
1.1.Job Purpose
The incumbent will coordinate, evaluate and maintain testing regimes to ensure compliance of processes and products with set standards and customer requirements
1.2.Key Performance areas
•Achievement of product specification and standards
•Compliance with statutory, regulatory and international requirements
•Volume and accuracy of work & maintenance of records
•Cost control
1.3.Qualifcations & Experience
•Degree in Microbiology, Food science or equivalent
•At least 4 years in food testing laboratory implementing ISO 17025
