THE COMPANY IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FORWARD TO EMPLOY SUITABLY QUALIFIED BOTSWANA CITIZENS CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

1) COST ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Management Accountant/Superintendent Finance the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate allocation of BCL operational costs and preparation of management information.

Key Performance areas;
- Compile internal management reports (budget/actual, costs, variance analysis)
- Budget compilation and management in respective divisions
- Perform monthly ledger reconciliations
- Statutory and policy compliance

Job Requirements;
- AAT or Degree in Accounting
- Two years relevant commercial experience

- Team Player

2) OPERATIVE 1 – BOILER-MAKING

Reporting to the Artisan Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for undertaking daily routine semi-skilled tasks as directed and to assist the Artisan in the execution of assigned tasks in the area of operation. These include repairs, maintenance and welding and fabrication of components within the discipline as well as recording data related to the maintenance management system.

Job Requirement:
- Candidate to have JC or BGSCE with basic knowledge on welding and fabrication and traceable references
- Relevant Trade test C or B certificate
- At least 3 years’ experience in a dynamic industry

3) OPERATIVE 1 – FITTING

Reporting to the Artisan Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for undertaking daily routine semi-skilled tasks as directed and to assist the Artisan in the execution of assigned tasks in the area of operation. These include repairs, maintenance and services of heavy plant equipment within the discipline as well as recording data related to the maintenance management system.

Job Requirement:
- Candidate to have JC or BGSCE with basic Fitting and machining with traceable references
- Relevant Trade test C or B certificate
- At least 3 years’ experience in a dynamic industry
- 2 year valid driver’s license class B
