The National Food Technology Research Centre (NFTRC) ,a government funded food science and Technology Research institution based in Kanye,Botswana invites applications from qualified and experienced persons for the position of:
Vacancy: DCS 2014/02 Human Resources and Administration Manager - 3 year fixed term contract
The above position is within Director of Corporate Services Division.
Main purpose of the job:
To develop and ensure the equitable implementation of competitive human resources policies and practices, and the promotion of an organizational climate which will attract, retain, motivate and reward suitably qualified and experienced staff at all levels to ensure that the centre has the human resources capacity to achieve its organizational and business objectives and meets shareholder and customer expectations; and to coordinate and manage the cost effective provision of administrative support services to facilitate operational efficiency.

Position Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Development or a related qualification. Membership of a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.

The incumbent should have a minimum of eight years post qualification experience in a wide range of HR practice, preferably in a knowledge-based organization and in depth knowledge of office administrative procedures.
