O&M Manager Solar Power Plant

Our Client-  A major player in the Solar PV business, offering a full range of solutions from manufacturing the PV modules to operating Solar Power Plants, through the installation of the equipment.

Job Description - O & M Manager Solar Power Plant    

Primary Responsibility: O & M Manager for solar power plant (132Kv substation) at regional level

Candidate Requirements-

• Should be at least 5 years experience managing O & M of substation minimum up to 132kv capacity, capable of managing contracts and Eskom compliances.
• Spare management, scheduling pm, testing and reporting.
• Note: should be certified electrical engineer.
   

Education/Experience:

• Knowledge: Should have good knowledge of maintenance of transformers and C & R panel, relays, RMU, CSS, PV knowledge will be additional benefit.
• Electrical and Electronics Engineer (EEE)/ 5 years
• Physical Requirements: physically fit
• Communication: Should have good English, local languages of SA
• Core Competencies: Servicing of VCB’s, RMU units, Knowledge of testing and commissioning
• Interpersonal Competencies: Multi skilled
• Motivational Competencies: SELF-motivated
