3.OPERATIVE 1 – FITTING

3.1.Job Purpose

Reporting to the Artisan Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for undertaking daily routine semi-skilled tasks as directed and to assist the Artisan in the execution of assigned tasks in the area of operation. These include repairs, maintenance and services of heavy plant equipment within the discipline as well as recording data related to the maintenance management system.

3.2.Qualifications & Experience

•Candidate to have JC or BGSCE with basic Fitting and machining with traceable references
•Relevant Trade test C or B certificate
•At least 3 years’ experience in a dynamic industry
•2 year valid driver’s license class B
