MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate the implementation of electoral processes throughout the Electoral Cycle in accordance with the Electoral Act.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
1. Interpret the Electoral Act to the public;
2. Interpret and manages Outreach Programmes;
3. Supervise the planning and implementation of the voter registration exercise;
4. Supervise planning and implementation of activities for voting process;
5. Produce regular reports;
6. Deputise the Chief Elections Officer in executing administrative and technical responsibilities of the Elections Unit;
7. Manage the Outstation’s Recurrent Budget and Procurement Processes; and
8. Manage the Outstation’s Resources.
9. Undertake any other related duties as assigned by the Secretary and the Commission

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Social Sciences (Political Science/Public Administration/International Relations).
EXPERIENCE:
At least 10 years of experience of which 2 years should have been served at D3 salary scale. Managerial experience will be an added advantage.
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.
