Corporate Affairs Specialist - Social Performance (Community Relations)

Duties and Resposibilities

-Facilitate the development and implementation of the following components of OLDMs Social Performance initiatives:

-- Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) for the communities within OLDMs zone of influence;

-- OLDM's Social Management Plan (SMP).

- Contributes and participates in OLDMs Socio Economic Development (SED) initiatives

- Updates the stakeholder engagement log including SED and SMP plans.

- Supports all physical and economic resettlements in accordance with the International Finance Corporate (IFC) Performance Standards 3 (where applicable).

- Develop plans for engaging with vulnerable people in accordance with the International Finance Corporate (IFC) Performance Standard 8 (where applicable).

- Follow all social Performance policies and procedures.

- Identify business commitments/risk and manage implementation therefor and adheres to legal & Corporate Governance Principles or Requirements

- Implements talent management initiatives by ensuring the right competence and effectiveness of workforce.

- Implements Knowledge management principles through application of tools and methodologies to continuously improve and sustain business performance.

- Work with the team to ensure proper and effective engagement with communities.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Junior Degree

- 5 years' work experience

- Pre-appointed training

- Community relations

- Project Management
