This involves loading and unloading of goods in the truck, checking and making sure that the truck is road worthy and ensuring that the needed materials will be delivered on time in accordance with the instruction sheet.
Duties and Resposibilities
- Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of breaks, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares and other safety equipment in the truck.
- Check fuel and oil levels in the truck before loading goods.
- Overall maintenance of truck and trailer including regular service of vehicle.
- Ensure that cargo is well secured.
- Ensure that cargo is well secured.
- Maintain record of goods and fright loaded and unloaded.
- Knowledge and understanding of GPS.
- Knowledge of ERF Trucks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A school levers qualification is required.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years' work experience in a similar position.
- Must have necessary Extra Heavy Duty drivers licence plus type H licence.

- Defensive Driving
- Ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of vehicle and all its parts
- Good communication skills
- Courteous and good customer service
