| Legal Counsel within its Disciplinary & Governance department | |
|
| to be filled immediately or by arrangement. | |
|
|
| Duties | |
|
- Applying the FIFA ethics and disciplinary procedures correctly
- Providing active legal and administrative support for the FIFA Ethics Committee, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee and the Appeal Committee (FIFA judicial bodies)
- Representing FIFA in disciplinary & ethics cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
- Ensuring that the associations apply the ethics and disciplinary procedures correctly
- Organising meetings, writing decisions and administrating dossiers of the Ethics Committee, the Appeal Committee and the Disciplinary Committee
- Advising member associations about ethics, disciplinary and appeal procedures
- Representing and enhancing FIFA’s image during football tournaments worldwide

| Requirements | |
|
- University degree in Law, bar exam an asset
- Experiences in international law
- Current compliance with sports law
- Excellent knowledge in oral and written English and French, good knowledge of Spanish
- Very good MS Office skills
- Self-confidence and diplomacy, excellent communication skills
- Commitment (tenacity, willingness to work long hours and work under pressure)
- Accuracy and an eye for detail, able to set priorities effectively
- Team player
- Willingness to travel and an interest in football
