REGIONAL POLITICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME

Background

Following the SADC MCO approval for the EU – AU Africa Peace Facility Capacity Building Programme in July 2004, Sun City, South Africa and Summit of Heads of State endorsement of the programme in August 2004, Grand Baie, Mauritius, the Secretariat has been cooperating with the AU to ensure that the programme is implemented in fulfilment of the AU Protocol establishing the Peace and Security Council. The process commenced with the establishment of a Liaison Office at the African Union in June 2008.
It is following this background that SADC Secretariat wishes to invite suitably qualified, experienced citizens of SADC to apply for the following position tenable at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia:

The SADC Secretariat offers competitive package for all the positions as per detailed below;
