Processing Plant Manager – Botswana

Salary Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that processing plant and associated infrastructure is operating efficiently and safely through incorporating planning, development, cost optimisation and production of the mineral processing operation
• Managing and ensuring that the Plant infrastructure is operating safely through Planning
• Planning, development, cost optimisation and production of the mineral processing operation
• Optimise the metallurgical performance of the process plant
• Ensuring the costs of the processing plant are well managed while Overseeing and maintaining the development of the processing department budget
• Recommending, planning and implementation of future plant and equipment optimisation strategies
• Development of preventative maintenance programs

Minimum requirements:

• Require 10 – 15 years’ experience working and managing key metallurgical process
• Base metals mining projects and other commodities
• Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering or any related field
• High level of communication / Interpersonal skills / Ability to lead a small team
• Preferably Motswana Citizen
