Mine Planner

Our Client - An International Listed Gold Mining Company in South Africa.
Job Description -
  • Operational short and medium term planning with the inclusion of associated mining related activities
  • Comparative design and analysis work
  • Identification of opportunities to optimise extraction of the ore body
  • Mine design and schedule
  • Any additional planning related work that needs to be completed

Candidate Requirements -
  • Be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
  • Have a relevant qualification within the MRM environment or mining related qualification
  • Be competent in Mine Planning Software (Datamine)& CADS Mine
  • Be computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
  • Possess good presentation skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with people
  • Have sound knowledge underground mining and planning
  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Mine occupational health centre
