Duties and Resposibilities
-Recommends cost saving initiatives in budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters
- Predicts and designs out imminent equipment failure through statistical and process control analyses
- Maintains an auditable, comprehensive, structured and integrated asset management system aligned to the required ISO55000
- Continuously improves equipment performance through analysis and redesign where feasible and applicable
- Reports asset performance accurately and reputably
- Adhere to all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures in an area of responsibilities.Â
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in an Engineering discipline – Mechanical, Electrical or Control & Instrumentation
- Five (5) years substantive Engineering Experience in heavy engineering
- Project Management
Additional Requirements
-Well conversant in SAP PM
- Experience in all aspects of Reliable Engineering, including RCFA, RCM and Risk Analysis and Management
- Demonstrated knowledge of open cast mining equipment in Southern Africa context
