Reporting to the Assistant Transport Controller, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Transporting material/personnel safely to pre-determined destinations within the stipulated times
• Operating and handling vehicle/machine or earth moving equipment safely and correctly in accordance with statutory regulations
• Carrying out daily pre shift inspections on assigned vehicle/machine and ensuring that vehicles adhere to scheduled maintenance services
Job Requirements
• Junior Certificate
• 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Driver
• Valid Government light vehicles license
• Government heavy duty vehicles license
• Special type H
• PrDP G
