PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER - 6 months contract

Job summary
* supplier appraisal nd performance follow up
* maintenance of supplier catalogue
* tenders and long-term contracts administration
* orders and delivery follow up

REQUIREMENTS
* Part Degree in Supply Chain Management or part qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management (CIPS)

EXPERIENCE
* Procurement and inventory control procedures
* Supplier contract administration
* Proficiency with ACCPAC Purchase Order and Inventory Control Systems

KEY EFFECTIVE AREAS
* Reduction of supplier data base
* Timely and accurate supplier deliveries by suppliers
* Adherence to procurement and supplies policies and procedures

COMPETENCES
* Results oriented and ability to work under pressure
* Report writing
* Interpersonal relations and communication skills
