FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
SUPERINTENDENT METALLURGICAL TRAINING
Reporting to the Training Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Achieving and maintaining high Safety, Health and Environment standards
Organising, scheduling, designing, implementing and managing all metallurgical training initiatives
Identifying training gaps through training needs analysis
Coordinating and managing all metallurgical training functions
Designing/implementing and supervising development programs
Providing shop floor level with the service and tools to optimally produce quality outputs and work
Ensure annual labour budgets are drawn up realistically and are controlled efficiently
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Metallurgy
Training & Management Diploma
6 years’ experience in a metal production operation
Sound knowledge of mine standards, and mines quarries and machinery act
Good understanding of training and development methodologies
