Training Officer Mining – Botswana   Salary Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications  Responsibilities:

• Technical training and assessment of employees while designing, developing and maintaining training programs and assessments.
• Monitors cost and taking corrective action as required to attain budgetary targets
• Revision of standard operating procedures, training material and assessment guides
• Implementing and ensuring  adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental Programme goals and objectives
• Conduct training and assessments on mining processes and machinery

Minimum requirements:

• Require 5 years training experience spent with opencast earthmoving mobile equipment.
• Base metals mining projects and other commodities
• Original Equipment Manufacturer training of trainer certificate / BOTA accreditation certificate
• Relevant diploma in technical training
• Additional experience as a Shift Boss/Production Supervisor and a blasting license is an added advantage.
• Preferably Motswana Citizen
