TRAINING OFFICER - ORE PRODUCTION

Reporting to the Training Superintendent - Ore Production, the incumbent will be responsible for the following;

•Developing, reviewing and managing performance of mining instructors through coaching, training and mentoring
•Implementing ore production training programs
•Assessing ore production candidates and graduates trainees 
•Controlling the sectional budget
•Ensuring compliance to training policies, procedures as well as BOTA standards
•Gathering relevant data from different sources that are needed to perform the job

Job Requirements

•Underground mining experience with 5 years training experience
•Certificate in Occupation Directed Education Training and Development Practice & Assessor certificate
•Accreditation by BOTA
•Computer literacy
•Knowledge of mining production process
•Knowledge of MDE machinery operation
